Oh, Kat. I can't even imagine what your mother must have had to deal with. And so many other moms as well. And the Vietnamese, who had no one to call, or write to, or help with arrangements. Your essay and audios bring it all to life. Thank you.

The more I review the year we had there, the more astonished I am at what my mother handled. And, yes, those who did not have anyone to rely on. I hold a few of those stories too--{heartbreak}. Thank you!
