This series of letters is nothing short of a documentary artifact unlike any other I have read in recent memory. The lived experience as seen through these words still leaves me breathless, despite the fact that I was present during the actuals. As a youngster in the midst of all this activity, I could not have imagined the retrospective that this, and you, lend.
